Love, like many things, breeds self-searching and inevitable self-appraisal. What does he love about me? Would he love me if he knew about x, y or z character defect? What about when he finds out that I talk in my sleep? And so forth.

For me, these are the areas of concern. Will he still love me when:
a. the time comes when he realises I'm not perfect (if he doesn't already...)
b. he finds out that I don't brush my teeth at night, because I don't believe in it
c. he knows I can't not wear a nightshirt in bed when I sleep, ever. I just can't
d. he knows how neurotic I am about carbs?
